Ed's Restaurant has been a Calgary landmark for 18 years. Originally named Mr. Ed's, for the talking horse, we pioneered Buffalo style chicken wings in Calgary. Although we're still best known for our wings, our huge menu has something for everyone.
The Balkan restaurant first fired up its grill on Banff Avenue in 1982. The restaurant was the creation of Greek families out of their element in the cold Canadian Rockies who wished to bring the authentic flavors and warm festive atmosphere of the Mediterranean to this high mountain town. Two locations and over 20 years later we're still serving up hearty Greek home cooking famous Canada-wide. The Canadian Broadcasting Corporation and numerous newspapers have praised the restaurant in the past for its great atmosphere, excellent authentic dishes and superb value. A superb Greek and Mediterranean dining experience that appeals to all ages.
